You know what, I call fowl (lol). I have not seen a single mention of a Loftwing on Skyloft being referred to as "she" (at least for now). My conclusion? The game just refers to all Loftwings as "he" for simplicity, and it's fair game to headcanon whatever Loftwing you want as a girl. 😆And it's not just bright colored Loftwings being male while the dull ones are female like you'd expect in birds (yes I'm still addressing my Zelda's Loftwing crisis). Even earth-colored Loftwings like Orielle's bird are referred to as "he"!!! No. Way. We know females exist; Groose and his buddies throw eggs after all, and there's obviously not a shortage of Loftwings in the sky.
