Sable picked at the food on her plate. It felt strange, to have a meal so large as this when everyone had spent the last few months starving. It wasn't much, just meat and cheese and salad, but it was more than Sable had thought she'd see again.
"It's strange, isn't it?" she asked a girl to her left before she could help herself. It wasn't a Brighton thing to do, make small talk with strangers. Especially not one who Sable was realizing was probably a tribute. But she supposed this girl didn't know that. Not yet, anyway.
