Out of Gem Just a nice feelsy picture I wanted to draw. Indigo has always known of Pearl’s love and adoration for Rose. In fact he’s given her gifts from time to time that he thought may remind her of Rose to make her smile. He’s always giving her confidence boosts with pep talk about how Rose would be very proud and happy with how she’s raising Steven. Slowly however it started to sink in that his feelings for her may not be reaching as deep as he’d like. “She’s placed Rose on such a high pedestal that I don’t think I can reach it.. I don’t think she’ll ever fully know how much of her I love and adore. I’m pretty sure...that I don’t stand a chance. All she talks about is Rose, Rose, Rose. She’s idolizes her so much that she can’t see the others around her who care! Not even Steven sometimes.. But I still can’t help but support, love and adore her, Even if it does hurt...” (I may continue this with a mini comic at some point. XD)
