Beth approached the oracle’s room and knocked. “Luna, it’s almost time for the ceremony. I’ll be outside and waiting for you to get ready.” She positioned herself outside Lunafreya’s door, waiting for the oracle to get dressed in her ceremony attire.

“Whoa. I’m definitely not in Riverport anymore,” Beth said as she got out of the van. She started looking around, trying to find a familiar face.

"Cinderella, remind me why we don't slap that bitch of a stepmother day in and day out?" Beth asked as she held Cinderella wash the floors. "You can hold her, and I'll slap her."

“I know and I’m more than fine with that.” There was some truth to that statement, but Jack would be lying if he said that he didn’t feel a little nervous. In his mind everything was going to run smoothly, but there was a part of him that knew things weren’t always that easy. Something always happened to make things more difficult for them.
There’s a sigh from Jack as he pushes those fears aside for the moment. “Alright, let’s get going then.”

Jack’s fingers move steadily as he moves the hairpin, working to break the chambers of the mechanisms. After a few more moments of prodding, he finally gets the door open and smiles. Good thing he had experience from being a young rebellious teenager. “There we go. Hope you don’t mind that you’re probably gonna have to get a new doorknob.”
