A delightful dessert combining the flavors of chocolate chip cookies, cookie dough, and creamy vanilla ice cream in a pie form. The chocolate chip cookie crust adds a crunchy texture to complement the smoothness of the ice cream.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate chip cookies. 1/4 cup melted butter. 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 cup milk. 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream. 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. In a bowl, mix crushed chocolate chip cookies and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake crust for 8-10 minutes, then let it cool completely. In another bowl, beat brown sugar, granulated sugar, and softened butter until creamy. Add vanilla extract, flour, and salt. Mix well. Gradually add milk until the dough reaches a cookie dough consistency. Fold in mini chocolate chips. Spread cookie dough evenly over the cooled crust. Softened the vanilla ice cream until spreadable. Spread softened ice cream over the cookie dough layer. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm. Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy!
