DILWYN ZAHHAK

Dilwyn is a wild man, compassionate but he wasn't always that way. He was forced to serve in his Empire's army, conscripted by the status of his birth. It didn't matter if he supported what he fought for- it was fear of death that kept him moving forward. Forward, until he couldn't stand the corruption anymore. He ends up cut off from everything he ever knew to regrow anew. And he regrows much better than before - Someone warm and compassionate. But there’s always a moral grey to him - abysmal ties.

I have a few more of these but I don’t know how to answer all of them lol. One theme I have w him is his intense, unyielding devotion, both romantic and nonromantic. I don’t think that’s too surprising, given the other Zahhaks in canon, but it’s an aspect about them I think is interesting, especially when their devotion is for the worse. It’s one reason he’s an unadmitted clownchaser, even though he is absolutely, genuinely over-the-moon smitten with Ringleader; his intense devotion can also exacerbate the worse aspects of their personalities. But with his moirail, who brought him out of exile, he will be dedicated to her for the rest of his life no matter what.
