it's fair to say adelaide has had her fair share of heartbreaks in her lifetime , the first one being her very first loss . when she was around five or six , just before teddy was born , she won a little beta fish on a riffle . she fought with her mother for over two hours to let him keep it and promised she'd keep it clean and fed and it wouldn't be a problem . she'd carry the little fish tank everywhere and speak with the beta fish for hours , paint every one of it's scales in big , vibrant colors on white paper and imagine one day they would travel the world together and she'd find a nice ocean she would set it free in . of course , the little beta lasted less than a week and that was when little adelaide first learned about loss and heartbreak . she tried to plan a little funeral for her best friend but when she went to get the lifeless body out of the tank , she found her mother had already taken it out and had flushed it down the toilet .

hc + 🎥 for a film/tv-themed headcanon

every other week , adelaide must have a movie night . it used to be a big thing , she'd make buckets and buckets of popcorn for whoever decided to show up , sweets , sodas , takeout , wine — everyone would get the chance to suggest one movie and they would put the names on a hat and let luck decide two or three winners . sometimes it would be good , sometimes it would be bad , but whoever was in would just enjoy being with friends and find a new movie to either enjoy or hate-watch . on special occasions , there's costumes and special food and a whole show like when halloween comes around and there's a horror movie marathon or when everyone is feeling risky and addie hosts a screening of rocky horror ... nets and corsets are always a must . now they are less frequent and less produced as they used to be when teddy was around but they are still a thing , every other month . next movie night scheduled ? winter holidays themed .

hc + 🌘 for a night-themed headcanon

alex suffers from insomnia . he has done so since he was around fourteen , fifteen years old and he sleeps two to three hours on a good day ; so he uses his nights for other stuff . instead of laying in bed trying to fall asleep and failing and feeling bad for himself , he is usually up either cleaning , reading , writing down thoughts or recipes but most days , he cooks . at the very least , he preps ingredients or plans his weekly meals , on better days he tries to invent something new or perfect a dish for the restaurant or to add to his catering company . when he is stressed or has something in his mind ; he makes meals and brings them to his friends and coworkers .

hc + 🌇 for a headcanon about morning- or evening rituals

every morning in the warren household starts at 5:45 a.m with coffee ( because, as we established , he can barely sleep and needs all the help he can get to be human again when morning comes, and it's always a double espresso or a cortadito , if he can find it in him to make it ) and a little morning jog with pollux . they come back home for breakfast and 30 minutes of meditation while pol rests from the morning exercise . then comes the shower and alex is ready to start with his day . if he has enough free time , he may squeeze in some yoga that is definitely never right and he should seek help for before his meditation , but it's a rare occurrence .
