Never. Tucker’s just going to start punching him in the head over and over again.

Send 💪 for my muse’s reaction to yours picking them up and throwing them over their shoulder.
Well shit. Tucker’s kicking and squirming, trying to do his best to get free. This sucks and he sure as fuck doesn’t like that cliff. “Dude, what the shit? Let go, asshole!”

{ Amused, yet somehow threatening growl. Crosses arms. }Who’re you running to? They can’t protect you, you know. }
Very threatening still, so Tucker’s just going to take another little quick step back.

@indxetime continued from here
There probably wasn’t a single Freelancer left in the Project who didn’t know who Tex was. Ever since she arrived, the black-clad Freelancer had caused a stir, being fast tracked to the top of the leaderboard. Not that Cali particularly cared for the board, hence why she wasn’t a single digit. But she wasn’t far off.
She watched Maine’s sign language carefully. California had learned a little in her life, enough to interpret the general idea of what was being said and to communicate back a bit if needed, though most of it was for military purposes. Thankfully, what the burly Freelancer gestured was rather easy for her to interpret this time, which was good because she didn’t have her helmet on or around to translate for her.
“Maybe lay off her for a while?” The eyebrow of her good eye raised slightly as she folded her arms. “And get yourself medically checked over... as a precaution, of course.”
California doubted Tex had caused Maine any lasting damage. He was tough, like her in a way, though he was on an altogether different league. Still, from her own experience, it never hurt to see a medical professional from time to time. Hopefully Maine would listen to her advice, though she certainly didn’t expect him to.
