I appreciate the ‘be critical but don’t be speculative’ post. Like yeah, it’s always a bummer when you see the same gross patterns from older men, but at the end of the day it affects us in no real way. We literally don’t know these people, so to insert ourselves in their lives by speaking about them on a platform we know they can see is just mean spirited and pointless. It sucks that the daughter has to see everyone talking like this about something she may not even have had a problem with.
I honestly wasn’t even thinking about Lily tbh. I am seeing some real stalker-like behavior coming from people where they’re analyzing twitter and The Sun (OF ALL THINGS?????) and trying to dig up motivations behind the behavior of both Michael and Anna, dissecting every word written about this by shoddy ‘journalists’ to find out what their very personal feelings are. This behavior is something the likes of which I've seen pretty much exclusively from the One Direction fandom and the bottom line is that I’m actually incredibly taken aback by all of this coming from the Good Omens folks (although I probably shouldn’t be).
If anyone acting like this is reading this right now: find help immediately. Talk to your friends, talk to your family, call a hotline, seek help from a therapist, people who don’t know about Good Omens or Michael Sheen or can regard the situation from a neutral position. Obsessing over this in that manner is not normal or okay.
That all being said, refer to this post here to see how I feel on this matter thank you and good night.
