6. what is your character reluctant to tell people?
pre dr1: not much. at first he’s kind of scared of his classmates, but then as the time goes on, he opens up to them. but when it goes to like meeting people outside of school, he’s kind of scared to tell people he goes to HPA. its sort of a big deal, and he doesn’t want to be treated any differently.
post dr1: how much his nightmares/ptsd affect him. he doesn’t want people to worry about him, since everyone has enough to worry about. even if it affects his health to a ridiculous amount, he finds it easier to just pretend everything’s okay and worry about himself later.
post dr3: what he saw during the despair video. or how much it still affects him. it ties back into his ptsd. doesnt want anyone to worry about him, even if he does open up a bit more about his mental issues to those close to him.

13. what does your character pretend or try to care about?
anything komaru talks about, really.
but honestly, he’s the guy who always wants to hear what someone has to say. about anything. there’s always something interesting in what someone has to say. even if he doesn’t find interest in it, he’ll listen and always tell them “that’s cool!” or “that’s pretty amazing”. sort of thing.
