Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017)
Thought I would share some of my latest builds on @ruffboi-mags server. These are from both season 1 and 2. It's been such a delight to have been allowed the creative freedom to build whatever I want, almost wherever I want and this server has been such a comfort zone for me for the past years. All the pictures below were made in Survival Minecraft unless stated otherwise.
The community storage has been my digital home for about 2 years, now... I love this little Encanto inspired house and how much effort my friends on the server have put into keeping it stocked for me. Also yes, that is the ship from the Treasure Planet movie in the background.
The Bee Train Station and Post Office. Along with the additional bakery.
I had this idea early on: "What if a build a camouflaged building?" and lo and behold, this thing popped up. It maintains the same structural outline all the way up to that last tower but each layer corresponds to the background. So you got the yellow wheat field at the bottom. Then a layer of green for the grass and trees. Lastly a gray and white for the skyline and clouds, light blue roof for the clear blue sky.
I built a horse statue in memory of my late grandmother who loved horses. Her name translates to Violet so I made the mane out of lilacs, the closest thing I could find in the game to match. Then next to that I built the Corvus space ship from Star Wars: Inferno Squad. I did use a guide for that one but modified it slightly to be landed on a massive port. Under the port I plan to make a space-themed trading hub but we'll see how it goes.
and yes, I also finished the backsides for those wondering.
For a more darker theme, I made a little offshoot to the End that resulted in being a scrapped idea. I made a custom compass that would have let the players go to this island with a custom dungeon and a new boss to fight but due to timing, the whole thing has been left as an easter egg.
We got an armor stand mod and a head library mod so I had some fun with setting up a roast dinner at a friend's inn.
As well as this cute Popcorn stand by the pier.
Then for Season 1, I apologize for the lack of quality in some of the pictures.
The community storage I made there using Creative Mode.
A flying Jellyfish I made above my base to act as a glow squid farm AFK spot.
A futuristic-looking ship I made for a friend inspired by the Horseshoe crab.
and my old, very first base on the season 1 server. I handbuilt a hollow mountain and placed a cyberpunk-inspired city inside to act as my storage unit. The red boat outside is inspired by an Angler fish and is supposed to act as a submarine. Three planes are heading for the mountain. 2 massive, crystalized structures rise from the ground and hover upwards like a beam through the mountain and the ground in front of it. A made a spleef arena with an intricate light design. My nether portal was in the mouth of a hippopotamus building. 2 factories are outside of the mountain, one was my super smelter and the other was supposed to be my bee farm but I ran out of patience with that one. Inside the mountain was also a mud/concrete farm as well as a mooshroom island embassy and a bamboo farm.
There's about a ton of other buildings and projects I worked on for this amazing server and I have a bunch of ideas to continue to add onto it. Every build I make, I make with passion and I put a lot of thought into each and every block placement, making sure it looks as intended. Whether it is supposed to be naturally generated or specifically manufactured and implemented. If it should hold any secrets or be honest and open about what it is. My dream is to work on ambitious projects that get recognized and noticed enough to inspire further creativity, whether in game or out.

I made versions of Inferno Squad back in 2019, but I'm always trying to improve and update my minifigures, and I figured it was time to do that with these ones
Favorite character is Disney canon Star wars. Go!
@swtorpadawan out there making me remember a tragically one-off character from the 2017 Inferno Squad book. Damn that was eight years ago.
Anyway, the character was a fourth member of the Battlefront II game's Inferno Squad named Seyn Marana.
Seyn was absolutely the breakout star of the book and by far the most compelling and interesting character of the cast. She is the youngest member of Inferno Squad and has an eidetic memory. While that serves her well in intelligence work it also weighs heavily on her because she can never forget anything. Any and all traumatic things that she experiences she is constantly reliving in exact excruciating detail. And that haunts her and alienates her from her other Inferno Squad teammates.
Being so young, only 20 during the book, she falls in love rather quickly, not having that much world experience with romance. And after that love dies (she actually was the one that killed him, it was a whole thing), she suffers tremendously because she can't forget anything and constantly remembers all of the moments she spent with him, the hopes that they had for the future and the moment that she chose to kill him for the mission.
She was such a wonderfully tragic and interesting character and it is beyond a shame that she was a one-off for the prequel book of the Battlefront II game.
