This one actually took awhile! The second you hit Moon Lord Infernum goes 'oh, ok, it's time to take off the kid gloves'. Moon Lord now holds the crown for the most attempts at 38.

People familiar with calamity will notice something weird about the boss order- I fought storm weaver and signus before profaned guardians! Profaned guardians first phase is physically painful for me (as are most flappy bird esque games) so I needed a way to make them easier to reduce the number of tries!

Next post will be after only 4 bosses, since they are getting harder! Those 4 are Providence themself, Ceaseless Void, Polterghast, and Old Duke. All insanely difficult, so who knows how long that will take.

Really loved these bosses overall! Empress of Light is now tied with King Slime at 25 attempts to beat, and Golem was surprisingly easy- it only took 2 tries, even if there was a specific part i always got hit twice on.

I wish I didn't have to do empress first for the Terraprisma, which rendered a lot of fights after her pretty trivial and thus I couldn't fully appreciate their cool attacks (like plaguebringer's laser walls). Maybe I'll do a non-summoner play-through sometime.

Next 8 go all the way up to beating Providence! I've never even beaten the hardest version of providence in normal calamity mod, so I suspect this is going to be a big wake-up call.

Did I say it would take awhile? I meant to say I'd do 8 more bosses in succession.

Early hard-mode progression is super weird even in Infernum, especially for summoners. I only changed equipment once between the 12 bosses.

Really loving the boss re-designs! Sometimes they get a bit too spammy to accurately read but plenty of attacks feel incredibly memorable.

I know what I said before but I do expect the next post to be a bit. I've seen Golem and Empress of Light, and they scare me. The next 8 will get me all the way up to just before the lunatic cultist!

I finished the next 8 bosses and their shrines! Some big milestones here, including Skeletron, which is the first major wall people run into (and took me around 17 tries) and Wall of Flesh to enter hard-mode, which I beat on my first try! (along with deerclops, queen slime, and cryogen!)

Queen Slime is probably my favorite boss so far, enough I fought her again for fun afterwards.

Next post will be after I beat Plantera, which could be awhile as it only gets harder from here.

(Also changed up my look since I found a sun mask!)
