ANCIENTS

Ancients are the standard "elite" Infested units. There are three variations on the same model, but the only difference for our purposes is color. Ancients are much, much taller than the rest of the Infested, standing easily eight feet tall, and they've earned that height. Every Ancient projects an aura that buffs their allies (and with the Infested, there are always TONS of them), so it's very important to kill them as quickly as possible. Everything about them communicates this bybeing in stark contrast to the smaller units. The Runners and their variants are the only other humanoid Infested, other heavy Infested are shorter, and their Cthulhu face tentacles glow above the other quadrupedal units. Despite not having kill-me colors, which I think they could probably benefit from, it's clear you should at least notice these guys. As designs on their own, the Ancients have a lot of bizarre little details that I like. The first is the face tentacles. That alone is the stamp of "crazy alien BS". Then there's the asymmetrical arms. One is a regular hand, but the other is a huge, rubbery slab of flesh. The one regular arm stands out to make you aware that this thing used to be human a very long time ago, but Warframe isn't quite spooky enough to do something like a single human eye or any of the classic horror tropes. The legs are a little weird. They go up to Urkel levels of waist, and while that does communicate "alien", I feel like the rest of the design already does that well enough. Also, the "crown" thing over their heads is a neat touch, looking organic enough not to break immersion while still calling attention to them.
