Ah yes, the AU where Gladio has no will to live.

Gladio is a drinker. He is drunk fairly often. He drinks to forget and to try and numb that pain.

He breaks up with his girlfriend. He doesn’t want a lover. He doesn’t want a family either.

He moves away from the city too. He’d rather just be a hermit that anything. He wants to be forgotten. He doesn’t want to be in the history books.

Gladio doesn’t try to rebuild the Crownsguard in this AU. If he had rebuilt it before Noctis’ death, he quickly disbands it.

Gladio’s got a dog. That’s about it.

1) hair pets are an easy way to either get him pissed at you or melted down to a damn puddle. it depends on intimacy level whether you are hit with the ‘don’t touch my hair’ or the ‘please, touch my hair’.2) likes animals, never had them because he wasn’t allowed as child and because later, he felt like they’d just mess up his workshop.
