“you’re right...i dunno what’s been getting into me these days, getting all mopey on you.” he’s more or less thinking out loud again. he really does appreciate snake’s input on the situation though. maybe he’s still just grateful to be getting casual conversation with the solid snake. it’s gotta be admiration, a childish yearning jealousy to want to be him--right?
