He doesn’t respond. He is not going to allow that to become one of his nicknames. His ear flicked in annoyance. He’s Shads at best.

He couldn’t believe this... Finn losing control? Shadow thought they had done all the training to prevent this, to finally get Finn under control of his powers, and now... 

Shadow wasn’t given much time to ponder more on it when he was shoved against the nearest wall, the cubes threatening to crush his body into dust. Refusing to just lie there and take it, he chaos controlled himself behind his friend. Spitting out some blood from that, not so pleasant crushing. Shadow was going to get revenge for that one. 

Shadow felt that the best course of action now was to stop Finn before he could do any damage, and then after making sure Finn was secure, bring him back out of this state that he had fallen into. He reached to his wrists and threw off both rings, increasing his strength. 

End this quickly. 

He just hoped that he wouldn’t need any more power than this.
