Lloyd and the human became like siblings. The Underground was filled with hope.

New header pic. Me in bed, with my surface tablet, slightly annoyed with... something. Small, messy attempt at cartooning, just to see how much I’ve improved.

Do your ideas flow out of you naturally, or do they require a lot of conscious effort? After the idea, is it easy to do the drawing? (I don't really know how it happens because I don't do creative work).

Depends on the day and my mood. When I'm feeling energetic and inspired ideas tumble out. When I'm anxious, depressed, or low energy I find I just have to force out an idea about something, about anything. The drawing is usually an emotive follow through on my mental state about the idea. A couple times I've done a drawing before an idea, but I don't like doing that. I often grab photo ref of my face or sit next to a mirror. I can work off the same reference photo and get very different results depending on my mood and what I'm looking to push.

earlier/middle of this week i remember i was feeling kind of blah, but then on friday i had this overdue epiphany where i was like, if i don't want to be sad i can just decide not to be sad and now im great again

I feel like people watching with you would devolve into one of those competitions where you make up stuff about a person (what their job is, relationship status, current mood and why, etc), and your suggestions would turn out to be totally true and then I stare at you in awe and horror at your mind-reading abilities.

VOICES ARE WEIRD. I did an internal video recently. I’m in it for 30 seconds, I need someone else to edit that bit because hearing myself is awkward. (I’ll edit all the other things!)

Isn't it?! Because you'll never hear yourself the way other people hear you but I'm so used to hearing myself sound like this (except there's also the problem of it being so me and my knowing myself too well that I don't pay attention to how I really sound) and so it's not just funny sounding but it's funny sounding because there's already a voice for "yourself" and now there's two and why
