Eddie was amazed that nobody had figured out that he was sort of seeing someone, although he and Evan weren’t official, they have been spending a lot of time together, usually at Eddie’s house when Christopher was at school or more often, Eddie sneaking Evan in when Christopher was in bed.
Sure, He would tell people eventually, for now at least, he enjoyed the little bubble they were in.
“I just think there’s a lot of nice men out there.” Hen says, still trying to set him up with someone, “You deserve someone nice.”
“I have someone nice.” Eddie shrugs, his eyes widening when he realised what he’d said.
Everyone's heads shot to look at Eddie - who looked like a deer in headlights
"Tell me everything.” Hen says pulling up a chair next to Eddie, her eyes telling him that she knew exactly who he was talking about.
#hotfirefighterLA had become all the rage in the firehouse after they found out - Ravi’s new nickname for Eddie now being 'LA'.
"I just met him on Instagram.” Eddie smiles, avoiding Hen’s glare.
"We just went for coffee.”
"Just coffee?" Hen frowns.
“Okay, he’s been over a couple of times, when Chris is out.”
"What does he do for work?" Hen asks, kind of enjoying seeing Eddie squirm
"Just internet stuff.” Eddie smiles weakly, really wishing the ground would swallow him whole.
“Oh so he’s a Tiktoker!” Ravi says, from the kitchen, having heard their entire conversation.
“He does Youtube more.” Eddie states. “Instagram too.”
Ravi laughs, “So he’s old old.”
