As the gifset says, we are putting up a ‘help’s wanted’ sign! Because of some changes, we need an extra pair of hands to keep the Library up and running. Our goal is, as always, to keep this blog as a source of information and fan content, both old and new.

Season 4 survival guide

Hello, librarians! With season 4 just around the corner, we decided to do a bit of a catch-all about what our plan is for the new season.

Every week, we’ll hold a livestream watching room where people who can’t watch live can come and see the show as it airs (please bare in mind that livestreams aren’t the most stable thing in the world and might fail or glitch sometimes!). Even if you’re watching live on your tv, feel free to join us as the watching room has a chat! Always support the show’s rating if you can. We’ll post a link to these viewing rooms as we open them, a few hours before the show starts.

Like last years, we’ll do a survey after every ep to let you vote for your favorite part! We’ll do a gifset of the winner.

And last, but not least: we’ll also be using the tag info: spoilers for the new episode and everything we reblog of it, but only for one week! So basically, we’ll only tag things from 4x01 as spoilers until 4x02 comes out and so on.

Am i a psychopath for loving marina the most like wow she is the best and doesn't get enough

Hi! Mod Cath here and let me have a long talk about my growing love of Marina. 

As long as you recognize her flaw its okay I think. All the character have their problems and it is by acknowledging them that we can only love them more. From what we saw from S01 S02 of 40!Marina, she wasn’t as bitchy as she let it, she was just having a large wall between her and the world, most likely because of the reason she got expelled or from the trauma of having two and a half year of her life removed from her memory.

 We see she have compassion when she goes to Julia when she called her after Reynard and we can see who Marina truly was; there for a friend. Marina always liked Julia because she sees herself in her and she tries to push her further. Even when she cast away Julia, she goes to her calling her out on trying to give up magic because she knows its a waste. And, despite trying so hard to push her away, she is there for Julia and even removes Julia’s memory despite knowing what it does to you. 

And despite trying to be a heartless badass, 23!Marina did ally with Josh to find a solution while claiming she doesn't work well with people. And she softens when Julia heals her just after she roofied her and admitted she was bait for Beast!Quentin. She even snapped to Alice admiting she was mad at her for her action had killed her friends (that she claimed earlier not having)

Marina barks and bites, but also will defend you if needed. She is complicated and have more trauma and emotional wall than we could think. I am excited to see her even more this upcoming season!

Tumblr Black-out

In light of recent events, and due to the decision Tumblr has made to change their terms and conditions, we at the Library have decided to participate on the user coordinated black-out.

What does this mean? It means that tomorrow, December 17th the Library will not be reblogging or posting anything in order to take part in the protest against these changes.
