Information Spill
Since I'm running out of time at this point, I'm gonna have to throw in all the information, and then either organize it when I have time tomorrow, or organize it in December.
There are 5 subspecies of Floserds:
Plain Floserds, Tundra Floserds, Water Floserds, Parasitic Floserds, and Desert Floserds
They each have slightly different diets, with some corresponding portions
Plain Floserds eat berries, grass, hay, anything cows regularly eat, with an addition of tea. Which is specifically for babies. Or special occasions. Floserds don't really drink their own tea, unless another Floserd is injured, in which the tea helps sooth them, and makes them feel better as they're helped. But that's never tea from themself, as they'll never drink tea specifically from themself. They also drink water. They'll also eat fruits, but specifically fruits like apples and such. Not flower fruits (which is also something I'll get into in a later section of this spill)
Tundra Floserds eat berries, bush leaves, shrubs, and fruits. To get water, they use their hooves (which are slightly sharper) to make holes in the ice for them to drink from. Their diet is kinda similar to the Plain Floserd, but with biome differences.
Water Floserds eat sea plants (seaweed), and if they can access it, will eat grass and land plants (this is mainly water floserds from pond/lake--stream/river. Not really sea/ocean water floserds.)
Desert Floserds eat grass and other desert plants, and really like cactus fruit, as it's both what they eat and drink.
Finally, Parasitic Floserds eat nutrients from plants, nutrients from other Floserds, plants, and other Floserds (as a treat :3). They also really like sap from trees (imagine a bunch of Parasitic Floserds surrounding one of those red sap trees, and just drinking the sap. That's a worrying sight XD) (then again yall can't imagine it cus I haven't shared an Parasitic Floserd examples yet, and nobody looks at this blog)

Now this is kinda some atanomic (how the freak do you spell it. Anatomy. Fricking Anatomy.) stuff, but not entirely?
To start off with the not-entirely anatomic (???) stuff, since I've explained that Floserds lay seed-like eggs, I added an extra step while I was gone:
They make fruit
Not edible fruit, that's very important. That's their child in the fruit, as the fruit is like an outer layer as the egg/seed produces. The fruit is what they pollinate (with the pollen in their flower tails), and the fruit is basically portable as the herd moves. After some time, however, the seed emerges, and has to be buried, as the herd waits for the egg to hatch/the seed to grow.
Now the rest.
The seed that a Floserd is born from is still apart of them as they grow. It kind of ends up being... it's heart? I haven't fully decided still as of now so currently it's its heart. But they, in short, have plant anatomy because... they're basically plants!! They're living and breathing(ish) but they're plants!! The biggest difference (in my opinion) is they have the seed's roots on the inside (kinda how they have their nutrients stored inside, as what they eat gets turned into nutrients and oxygen, as they release waste via oxygen!
Also I'm sorry I'm not good at anatomy, so their anatomy will definitely be updated at some part, the main constant will probably be the fact they have plant-like anatomy!!
Also, Floserds don't exactly have lungs, they breathe through their tails (or for some Floserds with back leaves, through their leaves as well)!! So yeah, losing their tail can be very dangerous for em...
Also (this is the third "also" in a row), I don't know if this fits here, but Floserds photosynthesize!! I think I forgot to say that!! Sometimes they lay in the sun, and just photosynthesize for a bit.

Now this part is kinda more like lifestyle?
Floserds always stick in herds, as I believe I stated before (if I didn't then my bad..), unless a Floserd specifically decides to leave their herd to explore or to start their own herd (which is very hard for Floserds to do)
Floserds also have a specific funeral tradition (don't ask why I gave them funeral traditions, I thought it'd be neat to give em). They bury the body of the dead Floserd (...or at least what remains of the dead Floserd - if anything - due to however they died), and surround it with flowers, herbs, and berries (the flowers and herbs are many different flowers & herbs, but are mainly the flower/herb the Floserd that died was). They then honor the lost Floserd, and after they finish honoring the Floserd, they all move on, but they do still mourn/grieve over the lost Floserd.
After some time, the buried Floserd regrows, but as only the plant they were. No longer a Floserd, but just a flower or herb.
Also, on the topic of this, most predators to a Floserd are omnivores or herbivores, and of course Parasitic Floserds
