Informed delivery can cause a lot of stress

Neither Rain, nor Snow, nor Sleet ... total bullshit!

The Post Office sent this put this morning to anyone who gets ‘Informed Delivery’. Then I got this notice from a retailer:

Yes. There are Major Shipping Delays

If you ordered from us during the last few weeks we know you are probably waiting on your stuff. All of our orders were completed Dec 3rd and mailed no later than that day. If you haven't been reading the news about the shipping delays within the USPS: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/holiday-shipping-delays-packages-6-million-stranded-day/ We are finding that packages have were shipped with 2-3 Day Priority are taking anywhere from 9-20+ days to ship. I wish there was some kind of magic wand I could wave, but this is a result of Covid, layoffs, and a PostMaster general who took out the sorting machines. If your order was supposed to be a holiday gift, start thinking of an alternative plan:  Put a photo of a kilt inside of a wrapped box and tell them their gift is on the way, perhaps. It's not ideal, but neither was 2020. Please continue to be patient. We will all get through this. Happy Holidays, Nick & Jefferson
