Chanyeol raised a brow in the other boy’s direction and simply shrugged. He’d watch him down that carton of apple juice, which was strangely entertaining to do. Sehun kept making these faces and when he was finally done and he furrowed his brows in what he could only assume was confusion, Chanyeol did the same. “What do you mean?” He wished he could remember what they were talking about before he lost his train of thought.

Sehun looks for a place to throw his empty carton, standing first on his toes just to see over the other and possibly hoping that there was a can behind him, hoping it was burnables.  “Ah, your tattoo,” he brushes fingers through his hair before pointing at the one that just barely peeks out at him. “It looks interesting, but I can’t see all of it,” he chews on the end of the thin straw, tasting the apple that collects on its waxy surface, at the tip of his tongue. “Wh’does it mean?”

                                     bright hues flickered from the man standing just feet from her, to the three men hovering on the other side of the street. their sunglasses hanging below the ridge of their nose, arms crossed and talking amongst themselves while they eyed the taller with burly expressions that could clearly harm animal just by the gaze. hesitance ran through her warm blooded veins. she was given a list of rules to follow by her father before his death and messing with other people and their lives was the first priority of what not to do, but standing there and let them plan out WHATEVER it was they were planning on ------ she couldn’t do that either.   ❛  um----  ❜  voice gentle but stern, it called out to the other as she approached him with a casual caution. arm reached up, fingers tapping on his shoulder to gain his attention.      no doubt she hadn’t been the smoothest of being’s, so grabbing his attention like so had probably put the men on  a l e r t.                                 ❛  i don’t know if you know this, but you have some intense men eyeing you like a piece of cake    ;;    i think they want to pick a fight or something.  ❜  she gestured with the side of her head, getting him to follow it with his gaze.

he wasn’t one to complain, he had no one to complain to in all honesty, but sehun couldn’t deny it: his nights were lonely, cold-- and despite having a bed where only one person could fit, it still felt empty.

eyeing the male, he can’t help but worry, think that he’ll get laughed at, but the response is one he didn’t expect, which brings a soft, sad smile to his lips. “some may do, but there comes a time when we need... you know, someone to sleep with. cuddle up, or whatever. it’s depressing, really.”

August parked himself in a chair directly before this stranger and leaned forward to whisper intently to him. 

“Listen, I’m having some trouble, would you mind if I just sat here with you for a bit? Maybe you could try to look intimidating- I don’t know.”

The young man looked rumpled, and damp, like he’d just been running in the rain for a good ten blocks. Which, he had. His dark eyes were stricken with panic, and he swallowed thickly several times as he watched the stranger’s face for any sign that he might help. Briefly he looked over his shoulder and sighed when he saw nothing but an empty street across from the outdoor cafe they were sitting in.

“You seem like you’ve got a knack for acting. Just put on a little show! Like I’m your long lost best friend, or your shitty layabout husband or something. I don’t care. Just- quick.”
