“Like waves the sound accelerates, gains in speed and confidence, approaches the summit from which then it will collapse in itself, to blend in with the other particles, just to be grasped by the force of nature to be coerced back in its place; back on track. There is no momentum, its the reoccurring travel towards the summit, only to be released, if only for a moment, falling into abyss. The transient state, in which one finds oneself has thus no end due to the power of repetition. One chooses to ride the wave, a bliss of phenomena, utmost experiences. Lastly though, the wave crashes onto the shore with such power and determination, leaving behind the memories of its past journey scattered like glas. But the journey is not over, hence it is the nature of the current, that will never release.

De lichting van de Ateliers van dit jaar bestaat uit 10 kunstenaars en hebben nu hun eindexamenpresentatie. Eindexamen is in dit geval niet geheel de juiste term, want De Ateliers is net als de Rijksakademie, Jan van Eyck en sinds kort EKWC en BAK een post-academische instelling.
