Howdy! I wanted to find out if you’re planning on emailing everyone who pre-ordered right before shipments go out in order to confirm mailing addresses. I ask because I may be moving at the start of the year, after preorders close but before everything starts shipping out. I totally get if you can’t -that’s a lot of extra work- but knowing will help me (and possibly others) decide between ordering now vs. waiting to take our chances with overstock. Thank you, and the Zine looks amazing!!!

Emailing everyone was not in the cards, but we’ve gotten this query from a few people who seem to be moving soon, so its worth mentioning this here! Your best bet is emailing us via our contact form on the shop (or just email [email protected]) with your order number and new shipping address and we will make note of it to send it to the correct address! And contact the socials as well, for good measure, to make sure we got your emails!

The mod in charge of shipping (which is me, hi!) is staying as on top of emails as heavenly possible. So it shouldn’t be a problem to just contact us with an address change before we start shipping! We’re letting everyone know when things start arriving and start being shipped off.

Ok I’m going to split this up into you & your art (maybe because I’m cheating & bad at narrowing this down to just three things shhh). I associate you with: kind & sometimes melancholic vibes, mad-science levels of creativity and sort of a punk monster kid aesthetic. I associate your art with energetic neon colors, body horror (either as a statement or just appealing ‘otherness’), and ingenious uses of multimedia (ex: I’ve never seen anyone do what you can do w/dimensional paint).

Aww thankyou! I love how you described it like I'm a mad scientist cause that's definitely how it feels when im making stuff. I just love to experiment and try new things!

(Also using puffy fabric paint is really good for making dimensional stuff. Like it can be used to make a slime effect. I've used it to make eyes. I like using glow and the dark and neon fabric paint.)

Aren’t palms in the closely-related sister family Arecaceae? I wouldn’t be surprised if botanists debate the taxonomy (because botanists), but I thought they were under the weird not-quite-a-taxonomic-order-even-though-you-hear-it-used-like-one Monocots. Regardless, it’s amazing how incredibly diverse and successful that category is! Heck- now I want to brush up on my rusty botany knowledge.

My dad is a botanist and both he and my mom (who’s kind of a botanist but never got correct licensing because she went in the fauna direction instead of flora direction) both agree it’s a type of grass.
