headcanon time bcs i have no visual inspiration!

freddy is the tallest of the classics. if bonnie's ears were included they would be, but That's Cheating. chica reaches bonnie's shoulders and foxy is a manlet king.

twist! toy bonnie is the tallest of that gang. maggie and eddie were the second tallest when intact, and can stretch even taller now! next comes toy freddy and then toy chica is just under him. then obvs b.b is small child.

puppet is taller than everyone else, like ducking-into-doorways-barely-fits-in-rooms taller. golden freddy would also be pretty tall, but doesn't stand up often and when it does it's slouching and limp.

of the kids, tobias is tallest bcs he's the oldest, adds to his big brother vibe. as there are a lot of kids, i'll keep at that and ???? is the shortest and youngest.

(i don’t just draw, i write a lil bit! i probably won’t do it often, to keep this art-focused, but here is a taste!)

“It’s been quiet, huh?”

Tobias, going over the stock in the storage room, looks back. Standing in the doorway is Corwin, hands clutched nervously at his chest as they usually are. The older boy smiles. “It has. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?”

Corwin shrugs and shuffles his feet. “I dunno... Quiet isn’t loud, which is nice, but I think... Uh...”

Tobias marks a few more notes on his (adult-sized) clipboard and starts towards the door. “C’mon Corwin, let’s talk in the office.” The office, safe and secure, where important things happen. The younger boy nods and follows Tobias closely.

When the doors shut behind the two Corwin lets out the breath he didn’t realize he was holding. The office, safe and secure. Tobias nods towards the chair, and Corwin flashes him a small grateful smile as he takes the offered seat.

“What’s up? Is something giving you a bad feeling?” The older boy frowns a little, worried.

Corwin shrugs again, swinging his legs nervously. “Kind of, but also... Not? I think... I think I hear things,” His words get quieter, he glances at the office windows as if the two are being watched.

Arms crossing over his chest, Tobias’ frown deepens. “Well, Marionette did say we might have strange visitors sometimes. Maybe they’re like the shadows? Just let them do their thing and leave?”

The younger boy tilts his head as he thinks. “Y’know... I think the noises did feel like the shadows, but different. Or uh, maybe I’m just scared of the quiet...”

“It is a little creepy sometimes.” Tobias smiles reassuringly, putting a hand on Corwin’s shoulder. “But it’s bothering you, so it’s okay to talk about it!”

A weight lifted off his chest, Corwin returns the older boy’s smile. “Thanks... I’m glad I told you. Can I help you in the back?”

“Definitely! The more the merrier!”

Welcome to Jack-O-Treat: A Tumblr Trick-or-Treat Event!!!

Don your costumes and set out into our neighborhood of participating ‘house’ blogs for a night of trick-or-treating that lasts until the clock strikes midnight and November 1st calls all the ghoulies and ghosties and long-legged beasties home!

It isn’t too late to sign up to be a house, either! Just send me an ask or message me and I’ll confirm your addition to the list! I’ll keep this post pinned to the top of my page, which will have the most up-to-date list of participating house blogs, as well as notices of any of the blogs that need to bow out early and put up the ‘out of candy’ sign (hey, life happens)! As a reminder, we’re going to try to keep the event PG-13. However, 18+ and NSFW blogs are welcome to sign up to be houses, just let me know so I can note it on our house list- still need the treats to be PG-13 though. Treats/tricks can be photos of a handful of candy, pre-made/on-the-fly art, short literary pieces, poems, or whatever the ‘house’ wants to give out as long as it sticks with the basic PG-13 rule. Oh, and no jump-scares as tricks/treats please!

Houses have anytime before Nov. 1st to respond to a knock at their door, so please be patient with the lovely folks who signed up to be our houses (though that deadline is pretty flexible because, again, life/delays happen). If you can, send your trick-or-treat greetings well before the end of the month to make sure the houses have time to get their treats ready.

This is a pretty low-key event and there’s no sense in getting stressed out over something that’s supposed to be fun, so if anything comes up or you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me. That is especially true if anyone is being a jerk - please let me know and I will investigate.

A few additional notes:

You don’t have to be a FNAF blog to participate, nor do your tricks/treats have to be FNAF themed.

‘House’ blogs can also trick or treat!

All fandom/non-fandom blogs are welcome to join in!

You don’t need a muse to participate. You can just be your lovely offline self if you like!

Trick-or-treaters can visit as many ‘house’ blogs as they want - no shade if you just want to visit one or two particular blogs or the whole neighborhood.

Please only visit each ‘house’ once (unless the houses specifically encourage repeat visits, but that’s totally up to them).
