family time is important to naeun, because it’s something that she considers a gift. the busy and often chaotic schedules of an idol leave little time for anything else, and she’s often feeling the affects of that too. sleep deprivation, pressure, and stress are a constant in her life but she chose to live like this. and even with all those things considered, naeun can’t picture doing anything else.
today marks a special day because she finally has the time to meet with her family, her parents and her little sister whom she’s been missing a lot. they agreed to meet for dinner at a restaurant famous for it’s french cuisine, and naeun’s excitement for trying something new is contained behind a soft smile and bright, warm eyes. she doesn’t worry too much about anyone recognizing her by face, and if someone happens too, it never bothers her. she likes the attention, and likes knowing her talents have been recognized by the people around her.
she sits with one leg crossed over her knee, hands folded over the maroon colored fabric of her pleated skirt. beside her is her sister, and across from her are her parents, the four of them catching up since the last time they were all able to sit down together to enjoy a meal. occasionally, naeun’s gaze flashes across the dining room, admiring the decor inside and looking at the faces around them. it’s a place she’s never been to before, but the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant --- calm even, and it’s something she can appreciate.
