Curious about what she was doing, the tall figure approached, eyeing her computer screen as he asked, "Watchya doin' there kid?" He was wearing shades and smiled in a way that exposed the points of his fangs, but in a more cute sort of way than creepy.
Though it wasn’t often that Rhyme found themselves out and about by themselves, it was a bit more common now than it had been in years prior. Beat was still incredibly overprotective, that much was likely never going to change, but he seemed to be slightly less intense about it now, so long as Rhyme reassured him that they would be fine, and not talk to strangers. Of course, that last promise was usually made with their fingers crossed behind their back. It was hard getting on with a day in Shibuya without encountering people you didn’t know, after all, and so long as people were nice, Rhyme liked to give them the benefit of the doubt!
The person that approached them as they coded on their laptop was likely someone Beat would shoo away if he were here with them. His appearance was one that would likely elicit a fair amount of suspicion from their brother, but he seemed nice enough to Rhyme, despite the awkward pointed smile. Besides, Rhyme sort of loved to talk about their newly discovered passions.
“Oh- I’m writing some code for an app one of my friends online made. He’s having a hard time getting files to save correctly, so I’m helping him out!”
