S K E T C H E S I’m not a big sketcher before I start painting but I do like to make a few little ones to remind me of my intentions. I’m starting a new body of work called “Ingrained”. This new collection will be shown for the first time @theotherartfair in March at The Truman Brewery. Ingrained is about our most inner thoughts and beliefs. It’s about how we all struggle to undo bad habits and shut out what we’ve always known as “true”. I will be exploring these thoughts using beautiful birch plywood as my base. The grain in the wood will guide my paintings. Much like how our thoughts and emotions guide our everyday actions and behaviours.
