      truth be told, there’s nothing much on his mind except a childish little upset; an old wound peeling open just a little.  enough to sting jason when he thought about the absence of his sister, and how fast she might return if someone else were to call on her.  annabeth, for instance.

      but it’s childish beyond belief, and he’s not going to unload something so trivial on yeva.

      ‘ what music do you have? ’  he’s expecting classical music, or soft jazz.  something soothing and easy to get lost listening to, much like her.  ‘ i brought my sketchbook.  was wondering if maybe you’d sit for that portrait i asked about — ? ’
