i didn’t do a lot over the holidays, but if you don’t think that my diana muse wasn’t thinking about her two daughters ( @petrasplaining & @inhercode ), you’re greatly mistaken. just the idea of giving these two girls a home, & that eventually they would be able to enjoy the holidays ––– something neither of them really had before, not with a real & loving family. & that’s all diana wants for them, to have a family. she’s not going to be able to have her own kids in almost any verse, stemming from what i believe would be a very stern position on not passing down bacloin blood in her canon verse, but i don’t think she’d adopt these girls because she wanted a family / wanted kids. until them she’d accepted she wouldn’t have kids, that that’s not was meant for her, so taking them wasn’t about giving herself a family. it was about giving them a family. & yeah, she got one, too, but ––– god, i just have a lot of emotions about how much diana loves natalia & vanellope, & how much she wants good things for them.
