“Thank you, that’s very sweet of you to say!”
“Fuck off, will you?”
“Oh shit, you scared me!”
“This whole city really gets to you sometimes.”
Tobias & Aurora | Obstacles
Aurora had completely given herself back to Hydra. Vowed to her brothers to never betray them again. Not after the way S.H.I.E.L.D. and most of all Theon had betrayed her. She would never trust anyone outside her family again. Except for Tobias. The only one who had not let her down. Who she owed her life to. Who gave up everything to help her escape. He saved her and she felt like she failed him. That’s why she was roaming the streets now, looking for him. She assumed he had fled S.H.I.E.L.D.. If he hadn’t he would probably be in a cell right now. If he was smart he had found the Rogues and joined them. But the Rogue headquarters were secret so all Aurora could do was roam the alleys in the hope she would find him somewhere. It seemed to have been hours when she finally saw the backside of a figure that looked like her friend. “Toby?” she asked while approaching him, putting her hand on his shoulder.
Aurora & Anna || The blood of your heart
Aurora had reunited with her brothers and vowed herself to never leave them again. S.H.I.E.L.D. thought she had betrayed them? Theon thought she had betrayed him? Fine. She would show them what it was truly like to have her against them. But the fight seemed to be getting out of control. Tony and Wanda were interfering and Akron’s copy agents didn’t stand a chance against such forces. Plus the blood they spilled seemed to be fuel for someone else’s power. Annabella. She was not about to let this girl ruin her chances of going back home. Under no circumstances she would be going to a prison. She might be fueled by blood, but Aurora was fueled by rage and the instructions of her brothers had been clear. Kill her. Aurora wasn’t above killing but killing someone Theon cared about was still not an easy decision for her. Perhaps there was still a chance she could end it without death. Though the creature Annabella was creating was rather gruesome and Aurora would lie if she said she didn’t fear it. But it was time for the Dougals to get in their helicopter and get out of here but Annabella was blocking their way. Aurora stepped out on the battlefield, knowing her brothers would have her back but she could take care of herself. “Annabella. Move!” she called to the girl.
S.H.I.E.L.D hallways || Runaway
He was dragging himself through the hall - yes, dragging, because his mind was still somewhat hazy and his vision was foggy but he ran into yet another S.H.I.E.L.D logo and he remembered exactly why he was trying to get as fucking far away from here as he could.
He didn’t want to be here. Here, where there was apparent safety, here, where Cal came from. He didn’t need to be saved, he just had to...
Halfway his pattern of thoughts he lost track and crashed into the floor, legs giving out, landing on his painful arm. He rolled on his back with a groan, closing his eyes against the sting of tears.
“Fuck...”
