He had taken a bit of time from his watching to go off to find a drink or two to quench a thirst.  He had been pretty busy with his watching to really pay mind to the time.  Deciding on different motives to either spice things up or to bring a little mayhem onto a friend or a complete stranger, the Shinigami had plenty on his mind.  Anything to distract him from a reality he had to get use to once more.  Wouldn’t be too hard considering he was use to this sort of thing.

Eyes would land on a familiar face.  The girl with the very peculiar ears was nearby seeming to be enjoying herself.  A glass in his hand, Gin would make his way over to the girl with a hand moving to pat the other.

“Long time no see ~ Looks like yer doin’ pretty well.  Enjoyin’ yerself?” A simple question to ask while figuring out exactly what he may be able to do with the girl.  He also had plenty of other things to discover about her, one of which being those ears.

One Good Turn | Olympia

A hand reached out to the girl’s shoulder from behind the building that towered above her, pulling her gently behind the neatly trimmed bushes in the front garden. A finger went to Delta’s lips, asking her to be silent; the other bandaged finger pointed west... And after a few careful seconds, a guard emerged, likely on patrol. If she had tried to move when she did, she would have been seen.

The guard turned again, moving to patrol in the opposite direction, and breathing came a bit easier for Delta. Ordinarily, he would have just let nature take its course and rid of another human in his way... But this woman did save him before, and he felt that not doing so in return would be a violation of his creed.

“...Do you know what this building is?” He whispered. It looked like a hospital, but he wasn’t entirely sure. When there wasn’t such a crisis, he would have loved to visit Olympia... it was his kind of place.

It seemed like Sasuke had become a magnet for angry cockatrices. He stared down at them from his place in the tree, trying to formulate some kind of plan. They were fairly large, but the boy was faster than they were. Sasuke thought that maybe he could set up some kind of trap for the creatures, but then he ran the risk of trapping innocent people in with them. 

At least he could stay in the trees.

As the beasts gathered around the trunk of the tree, waiting for Sasuke to fall, he noticed a girl off in the distance. It looked like she was coming closer. He attempted to signal her silently to go the other way, or to stop coming so close.

“Me? A guilty pleasure? I take no guilt in any of pleasures. Next question.” Nobody had to know about his super secret tree-house he had been working on. With it’s many secret entrances and exits.

The mental traffic in this place was even more infuriating than he remembered. There weren’t coherent sentences in his head anymore, just words. Words in different voices in different contexts, all in a thick soupy scramble in his brain. Frankly, Delta preferred his Esper abilities at full function, if only to make sense of all of this... Nonsense.

In fact, he didn’t even recognize the woman in front of him was talking to him at first.

“Hm?”

Oops.

“I’m terribly sorry, I didn’t... hear any of that. Please repeat yourself for me.”

“Ahh. The stores they shine bright with red, pinks, and vhite. You know vhat I love most about this season? All the sweets. Heart shaped cookies dipped in chocolate. So very good. Have you had von?”

“This’s a bit...” His voice trailed off. 

Not many would think of a veteran assassin and executive command of an entire division and picture a man who climbed trees for enjoyment. 

And they would be right.

However, blame couldn’t be placed on a random passerby thinking that his current position--up a tree, sitting in a leisurely fashion on a branch--for thinking that he was a weirdo who climbed trees for fun.

“Look, I’m up here because Mittens went and got herself stuck up a tree again and I’m trying to get her down.” He pointed towards a cat nestled peacefully a meter or so away. Why did he feel the need to explain himself?

“Actually, yeah. Why do I need to explain myself? What if I actually like being stuck up trees wih my pet cat?”
