i'm almost finished with woman in charge. overall i think it's pretty credible. it's certainly critical of her at points and, i think, a little harsh in heaping all the blame of the healthcare debacle on her, but its definitely not a hatchet job by any means. it also does recognize the witch hunt nature of the republicans, so I think in light of what else has been written about her it's pretty balanced. plus carl bernstein is the reporter who broke watergate so i give him some cred just on that

hmm that’s really interesting to hear, thank you! what I’ve read of it so far it seemed pretty balanced in terms of not painting her in too much of a dark or glowing light which is normally a good sign, I just wasn’t sure how reliable some of the sources may be but a few people have commented that it’s pretty credible so I definitely want to make sure I finish reading it properly and reserve my complete thoughts on it until after I have done
