I came across a video on Instagram where the artist used only a single multi-ink ballpoint pen to create their artwork. Just four colors - orange, green, red, and blue.

I decided to give it a shot myself. So four colors and a bit of white Posca.

It’s… okay. I may try this again.

Small doodles help keep me involved in art. They’re not big, impressive things. Most of the time they’re tiny. Absentminded. Unimportant.

But I’d rather do a doodle than nothing at all for days that become weeks, months. Years.

It’s so easy for life to overwhelm me sometimes. So many things that demand my time and attention. So if all I can manage creatively is a doodle or a drabble or just a scribbled idea, then that’s okay.

It’s always better than nothing.
