For all his wrongs, I forgive him, and will never stop loving him. I just hope he will find it in his heart, to forgive me as well.
A boy who killed his father, left with complicated and unresolved feelings.
My take on Tajima has shifted a lot from when I first learned about his existence, and it would be a lie to claim that the fandom's portrayal didn't guide my steps, lol.
Madara killing his father and awaking his Mangekyō that way (it's a bit more complicated than that, but I'll go over the detail of Madara's Mangekyō later in a dedicated post) has been very compelling to me for a while, on the other hand.
Despite everything, I never made Madara hate Tajima. He still clings on who his father used to be, and the hints of his old self he could find. Ultimately, he has been mourning ever since his mother died, and Tajima's real death was more of a mercy kill in his mind, something necessary, in which he took no joy nor glee.

It is something you see with some kids who are introspective very young, a sense of responsibility over their actions where there should have none. To understand you did something wrong is good, blaming yourself over it as a kid, however...
Madara, for me, is someone who tend to shoulder things by himself and that's how he likes it best. Even as a child, his own outbursts would be something that would make him feel guilt to an exaggerated extent. I like the idea of him having a dense chakra and self combustion tendency because it translates a behaviour of hurting others without intending to.
Anyway, ended up only doing this, so i guess there is one more to go with kid hsmd meeting (so Izuna and Tobirama can catch a break) and we'll go back to your regular program (what's the regular program, idk?)

Also, I wanted to also say, I'm back from vacation! That's why I didn't post yesterday (4 hr car ride, the heat, I was just tired overall)
it was fun, fun times, but I'm happy to be back home still.
Day seven of @tobiizusummer: Free day
I was... out for the whole fucking day. Loved it, of course, got to spend time with my family, but it was a challenge to get these done. So I apologise, I didn't have time to draw the frames better :P
It is how it is.
Anyway, I thought of ending this with the typical tobiizu love language, but I guess this is a bit rushed, so I will make up for it.
I don't draw tobiizu nearly as often as I should anyway lol
Day six of @tobiizusummer: Hanahaki
Who told you you need a heart to live? Let me take that from you, such a useless thing, better get rid of it.
Double hanahaki is a trope I love, especially when it's mostly because of impending doom or psychological block more than a true unrequited love. Makes tragic ends sting even more >:)
Day five of @tobiizusummer: Pinky Promises
Just a sweet moment, do not ask how this could happen in canon, I do not know either.
But I think, Tobirama may have a crush. Just a thought, just a thought...

Day four of @tobiizusummer: Fight fire with fire
Took this one more metaphorically, I just didn't have any idea for something litteral except perhaps Tobirama throwing a lit candle at Izuna's katon? So I made them fight verbally instead.
I did a first sketch that looked good without thinking much of it, that's the truth
I feel like they both have pretty reactive personalities and would clash. They hold such different world views too...
But, like they say, sparks create fire, but they said nothing about it not being a passionate one lol
Anyway, that one is on the fly as well, I gotta go now.
Day three of @tobiizusummer: Tanabata
It's a neat little detail for this day to coincide with the irl date of the festival, in my opinion.

Day two of @tobiizusummer: Sun-kissed
A mix of facination for Tobirama's inability to tan (he just burns lol) and Izuna's sadistic tendencies, and you get this.
This is Amaterasu's branding, a kiss if you will. Just like your eyes, a blessing.
Izuna shares a bit of his brother's fanaticism for their Goddess, you know? And Tobirama, with his red eyes and his pale complexion that turns bright red under her gaze, is very attractive by Uchiha standards.
You look distraught, Senju.
Day one of @tobiizusummer: Yōkai or Yūrei
Decided to participate very last minute (mostly because I forgot it was happening, sorry) but I have made sketches already for each day, so, hopefully, I should be able to get through this one.
Chose to have a little ghost Izuna because I like pain. The unfinished/sketch like aspect is intentional.
I do really enjoy how Tobirama looked genuinely surprised Izuna died, or that he didn't dodge his Hiraishin. Does he feel guilt, perhaps he is disappointed, in himself for not being careful enough, or in Izuna, for being too confident in his abilities. Perhaps he feels lonely, because Izuna was like a reflection, a perfect match for him to grow and become better.
Maybe seeing his ghost wander around him would help, maybe not.
Especially since Izuna could be a foe that, this time, cannot be killed.
Just a lil bonus Hashi. Didn't manage to finish him before the next day, but still.
He's my flower boy, I love him to death.
On the Senju side, things are tough, but in a different way. Whereas Madara will only remain calm if Izuna is nearby, Hashirama is able to be independent without breaking own, but he will be bursting with energy all day (and night), trying to get Tobirama's attention and fight boredom.
He has barely any control on his Mokuton, and the Senju compound being mostly wooden houses makes it a bit dangerous. Upset Hashirama has wounded heavily a few people because of it, although he does heal them immediately out of guilt.
Tobirama can barely sleep, Hashirama never needed too much sleep, but he has now lost the patience he had acquired with age. He desperately wants to be with Tobirama at all time, but he asks for it much more covertly than Madara.
You guys don't understand how relieved these two were upon seeing the other lead.
Meanwhile, at the Uchiha compound:
Madara's burst of chakra alerted Tobirama even through the distance and made him retreat, leaving the Uchiha to scramble back to their compound as well to avoid Madara turning it to ashes.
Having to take care of a kid at 21, without even mentioning the fact that this is your older brother/parental figure turned into a five-ish year old walking fire hazard, must be tough.
Izuna vows to never have children after that.
I think Tobirama and him could trauma bond over the experience (I'll post about the Senju side too, just you wait)
They are both freaking out.
Just a random thought I had today that made me laugh. I already can see Madara and Hashirama being menaces as kids, but imagine if they are turned from their adult self, jutsu gone wrong style.
If their physical age is the only thing that regresses, that means two small absolute powerhouses with no emotional regulation skill, which is partly why everyone would freak out (outside of their leader being turned into toddlers)
They are as dangerous as they are cute, and I find it so very funny.
