Lil update on the why of me absence.
Last few months have been a blur, stressing over exams, classes and specially over an art showcase in the school I work. Today we had to present it alongside our students. I'm absolutely exhausted but kiddos and families had fun, it was a success and I'm finally free from stressing over it.
Until again next year, ofc.
Time to sleep until summer and will go back to scream about sims very soon.
Ok, so I'm gonna ask cause I feel like I'm losing my mind over this and I'm very sure that the answer is looking back at me and I'm just not seeing it.
Anyone know where to find the EA palette for recoloring eyes? I've found the hair one, but that one just eludes me.
Have decided to let my game update finally. Tomorrow will be the grand day of moving all the important shit out of the folders, making security copies of saves and tray things. And then, hunting down updated cc and mods, and updating the ones I can't find myself. And installing again the lighting mod and camera things!

Didn't get to post this yesterday, but hope this New Year treats everyone as y'all deserve cause you're all amazing.
It was a fun year and, barring a few stumbles, got to enjoy the community's energy a lot.
I did say I was gonna leave all this behind on December, but I decided to stretch it a little bit more. I still have some things I want to post, mainly some CAS shots :3
I'll stay around possibly until February, when I start working and studying again.

So. Been debating writing this. Won't debate no more. Due to EA being bought, especially by whom it was bought (everyone is in that bag, nobody is exempt), I'll be leaving the simblr community behind.
It was a fun thing, got to interact with folk I wouldn't had had the chance to do before, and got to share and create some new ideas I didn't know I wanted to create.
I won't be deleting this blog, and will keep logging in regularly for the last few months we have left of this year. After December, well, I won't be logging in often anymore. Just, possibly once in a while.
I don't think I'll be posting anything else save for the three or so posts I have in my drafts. Perhaps CAS shots. The Past we Haunt story will be left incomplete in here (I unfortunately don't see a point to keep posting it when I know I won't be playing the game anymore after) but I'll possibly be writing it somewhere else.
These are, after all, my own characters that the game helped me to give a face to, and me writing a story about them was always in the cards.
I enjoyed the interactions I got to have with people here, and if anyone wants to keep interacting, though not in a Sims setting, I can be found in my other blog @massivechildshark. Been neglecting that one for too long and it's time for me to return to it.
I'm not good at ending important posts, but will make another one close to the end of December to close things off.

Need to let my game update, but I so don't wanna have to deal with scouting for any cc that will break, nor risking my sims losing their looks. Nor having to deal with the new tattoo thing.

With a mere few words this random lady managed to take me out of an impending dumb brain moment. And it was so delightfully sudden!
Woman to her friend: In Villa Adelina... They make a contest to see who has the worst display.
Woman: There are a good few that could win the prize.
It started as such a thoughtful and well paced comment that neither the other lady or I were expecting it.
