Saya pushes past Black Cat, determined to leave there without being further taunted by a walking reminder of how little she really knows Cindy. “My Lab.”

Black Cats eyes widen. “Oh perfect. Let’s go.”

“We aren’t going anywhere.”

“Yeah we are. Because I have a date with Silk tonight, and I know you're dying to figure out what’s wrong with her and I’m your closest chance to find out.”

Saya stops completely “You have a date with Silk?”

“I have a heist with Silk,” Black Cat corrects herself. “Which is basically the same thing.”

I love the implication of the username "unionize aromantically." Is there usually an inherently romantic nature to most unions, thus necessitating the specification that your union is not? Personally, I am all for promoting the idea that making out with your fellow union members is an option (for those who are so inclined) if it increases union membership.

I could answer this in many different directions, so I'm gonna do that

Obviously the primary reason I picked the url was because I'm aromantic and like unionization.

Actually I don't remember which language it was in, maybe English, maybe Norwegian, maybe both, but union can mean marriage. I just don't want that confusion.

It's a union for aromantics. It's not necessarily that there's something romantic about unions, but instead it's that most people are alloromantic and therefore most people in a union would be alloromantic, but I want to prevent that. Because I know that aromantics are really cool + a lot less likely to annoy me about crushes

I saw a similar url on a pornbot in the first wave of bots with good names, something unionize, and I decided I had to capture it.

that's all I could think of but yeah. Unionize regardless of whether you're aromantic and if you're aromantic be proud of your aromanticism regardless of if you're in a union yet (but do join a union, fight for your rights!).

I don't really have much on my mind so I am kinda lost to what to say. so I'll just say like.

Uhh. wait actually.

So the Norwegian government is talking about increasing the age restriction on social media (regjeringen, 2024).

Which is like. idk. There's a 13 year age restriction rn and like. People already don't follow that? It seems so ineffective

And then like. I think I reblogged a post about it but like some people genuinely just don't have options for stuff to do. Like I know in certain places on my country they literally don't offer any organized spare time activities (fritidsaktiviteter, not sure if that term translates lol but like sports & chess clubs etc).

Many places it's fine though. And yeah maybe do something. But like. this seems kinda useless?

I myself joined social media at 13 because my parents were a bit strict on that. And idk it was fine. I was definitely the latest one in my social circles though.

And I don't think I was too young to be on social media really. I think 13 years is a chill age limit thing.

But yeah just I think if they're gonna settle on that idea like they solved children, tweens and teenagers being on social media regretting that.. I think they're wrong.

But yeah. They're not targeting the biggest problem: under 13 year olds using it. And they're not targeting the cause: idk what the cause is precisely but I think they should look for it.

idk. Do other people agree with me? Do you disagree? What do you think? if you want to say please do.

I know the insta comments on this were super positive but it sounds like a non-solution to a non-problem. it sounds like a big misidentification of a problem.

what is a member of a political party? is that not the same thing as being in government?

No. You sign up for a political party, pay a membership fee, go to meetings and maybe other stuff (like booths advertising your party), and then you might end up on the list of candidates (this is usually voted on within the party), and if you become a candidate you can be voted for in the election and then you might end up in government (but only really if you're somewhat high in the lists)
