Hey there! I started reading of Lions and House Cats and at the end notes you mentioned that Altea is a real village. So happy to see someone doing research <3. I'm from Alicante (I know, like the Shadowhunters city) and it's right next to it. I loved the first chapter and your end note make my day. Thank you for your work!

Ahhh! That’s super awesome! I love doing research and sharing what I find interesting with other people, so hearing things like this is really cool. Is it a nice place? From what I’ve seen on Google Images, Altea looks beautiful, so I’d love to visit one day!

They're not sure exactly what it is, which is really helpful, and they say that by the time that symptoms manifest it’s too late for treatment, which is even more helpful, and they also don't have a cure, which is the most helpful thing of all.

The news bulletin had flashed up on the TV on a rare night that Andrew and Neil were both home. Neil’s dealt with his fair share of gore, largely inflicted upon himself, but the pictures they show still aren’t pretty.

Aaaaah, thanks <33 Ok, in no particular order:

1. Siren’s call (zimbits, 2.5k)

Eric Bittle (baker, hockey forward, former figure skater, 1/8 siren blood), moves into the Haus of the Samwell Hockey team. He has been doing well in terms of not singing and accidentally bewitching his team for a year, but he just really loves Taylor Swift. 

--> This is the most fun thing I’ve written in like, ever? I just love the trope. And magic. 

 2. 5 nice things Andrew doesn’t hate and 1 he thinks he does (Andreil, 1.5k)

Andrew Minyard claims he hates lots of things (and people). He doesn't talk often about what he doesn't hate, but those things exist nonetheless.

--> I loved playing with this character, and it was a great outlet for when I finished the books and needed MORE.

3. Rabbits are not what they seem to be (zimbits, 6.5k)

When Bitty opened the door, there was a rabbit looking at him.

He rubbed his eyes, trying to chase away the sleep-induced hallucination. He blinked too, figuring it'd go away, but when he opened his eyes again, the rabbit was still there, looking at him with big blue eyes. An actual rabbit, a black fluffy ball with long floppy ears.

Or: A story of how the Stanley Cup is magic and grants wishes in the weirdest ways.

--> This is the closest to my heart, ok? Jack gets turned into a rabbit. What else could a girl want?

4. I just wanna feel your lips against my skin (Matt Murray/Conor Sheary 3.5k)

Wanting to kiss your goalie is not a totally foreign feeling for any decent hockey player who values the fact that he is not the one who stands between the pipes facing shots. Wanting to kiss your goalie the way Conor would like to kiss Matt is probably not that much of a common feeling.

Or five times Conor wanted to kiss Matt, and once he actually did.

--> Dynah and I are the only two people shipping this, but seriously, I love them. 

5. On a silver platter (Zimbits 2.6k)

Jack walks into a restaurant and immediately thinks that he has made a mistake. It may be his lucky day, though, because he lands a date with a cute blond.

--> This fic got me kudos and comments from fic authors I loved when i went back to fandom in 2011-2012. That made me happy.
