THIS NOT A SURPRISE, SHE KNEW JUST HOW MUCH STRENGTH &. ABILITY HE HELD! she goes for another strike, she couldn't let him have all the fun after all! ... &. soon by their cooperation, the beast falls, 𝐃𝐄𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃! a sigh, holding weariness, but her smirk works to cover the act. ❝ well, that's dealt with ━━━━ ❞ a pause, gaze moving to meet his. ❝ wouldn't you say so? ❞ for should the full story be told, it deserved such. @inkbloodcd continued from here!

taking a small break here to wish one of my bestest friends here a happy birthday !!! @inkbloodcd i know you're having the time of your life right now and won't see this until you get back but i love you sooooo damn much and i hope you have the best damn day / week / month / year because you sooooo deserve it !!! lemme just gush here for a second : i wouldn't be here on my ayaka blog if not for b . i got back into genshin after not playing for over a year because she got into it and was telling me all about her adventures . so of course i added ayaka on my multi and wrote with her ayato and then i realized just how much i really loved writing her and finally moved her to her own space . tbh , i always leave this hellsite but two people keep me coming back and b is one of them . she is worth all the crappy experiences here and i would do it all again if it meant she was a part of my life .

she is one of the best writers i've ever encountered . i'm not even saying that lightly just to say it . her prose continues to amaze me . heck , even if we stopped writing i would still love her immensely !! she's been with me through so much and has given me so much direction in my life . i've laughed , cried , and fought with her and it only made everything between us stronger . i love seeing everyone love on her because she rightfully deserves it .

b - even if we don't talk every day for a year straight like the olden days i will always be here and support you . you are such a breath of fresh air and one of the reasons i'm still writing . you've helped me expand on my creative side so much and just given me so many opportunities to grow artistically and i'm so damn happy . once again , happiest of birthdays . i fucking love you !!!

"My mother... As a child, I truly only wanted to make her proud. I wanted to be... the one she wanted me to be. I would have done everything I could for her. I felt... pressured, but I still knew she loved me. I thought she was unfair with Clive, but with me... She wanted the best for me. Maybe sometimes it didn't come well, but her intentions were still good. That's what I still think to this day.

But then, Phoenix Gate happened. I lost everything that night, just like so many other innocent people. When I learned it was her doing... it broke my heart. I didn't know she could go this far. I still... have a hard time realizing it truly happened. Even if I know. And I am deeply sorry for all the pain and suffering she caused. I wish she could redeem herself. I don't know if this is possible, but I want to believe it.

I still have love for her. I will always have. But it is unfortunately tainted. I wish... I wish we could go back in time and change everything."

(    🐇   )              SHE FEELS HIS concern in his chest that he conceals, chewing on her lower lip as she remains in bed. the healing magicks did as much as possible without the knowledge yet of what the poison attached to the dagger was - she was alright but she would not be able to travel for awhile. especially to diplomatic events such as the one she NARROWLY ESCAPED FROM.

darling emet does LIKE TO LECTURE though - she almost feels bad for butting in so that he may be able to SAVE HIS BREATH.

𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒅𝒏'𝒕 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒓𝒂𝒘 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 . dinner was usually a quiet affair . most days they were accompanied by thoma , fewer days by ayato , but they were better than the ones without either of them . ayaka had anticipated ayato to come back to the estate late , but she's interrupted by the sound of him eating . her demeanor perks up , her posture straightening at his presence made known to her . ❛ brother ! ❜ she sets the piece of fish back onto her plate before turning to face him , however , as if reading her mind he makes his way to join her at the table . it was another late night , but she appreciates the effort he makes to at least join her even if it was for just a bit . how she missed their family dinners ; they were now few and far between but there was always a silent understanding between them that they'd make an effort when time permitted them the luxury to do so .

❛ did thoma tell you about it ? ❜ she sounds a bit embarrassed at the revelation , her cheeks flushing at the admission . it's not that women weren't allowed to take up the sword , but ayaka believed it was her time to do so as she had gotten older . it was something she chose to do on her own , something that allowed her to meld her interests into something so beautiful and fierce . ❛ you already have enough to worry about . i want you to have some peace of mind knowing that i can take care of myself , ❜ she says factly , the truth in her words something of a reprieve to his already full list of things he's required to do as commissioner . ❛ i've already bested thoma a few times . did he tell you that too ? ❜ ayaka can't help but smile proudly at her own words . she leans over the table almost excitedly , every one of her manners almost disappearing as she becomes lost in the topic of conversation . ❛ perhaps if you have time you could train me as well ? ❜ she asks hopefully .

         a minute, she says as if the request is truly as simple as it seems, as if she means a literal, actual minute.  she doesn’t, of course.  and he knows this, knows her well enough to find himself anything but surprised when the...  creature is dropped into his not-at-all-waiting arms, a proper response— a no, he tells himself—  not even given in time.

         and so, he pointedly sighs as she quickly turns away from him, busying herself with her task, attention already gone...  but he does not object, doesn’t say anything, in fact, in the rather awkward moments that follow.  the creature blinks at him, its nose twitching.  and cautiously, then, he begins trying to rearrange it in his arms.

         he is generally unsuccessful in these attempts, much to his very apparent dismay.  the little familiar seems to turn into something akin to liquid each time he shifts it, squirming a bit, this way or that, nose still twitching.  and grumbling to himself, he remarks on that fact—

         “ does this thing even have bones?  oh, stop it, you. ”

(    🐇   )               SHE KNEW THAT     silver queen was in good hands,    even if said hands were not used to holding such a concept.    clementine trusted hades not to drop her outright and be kept busy while she    looked    for things that she required for later.    she’s amused with herself in how he so easily takes things that she places in his arms    ;    and while he’d sigh and complain all he likes    -    he still does   ENOUGH AND MORE    for her.

SHE GLANCES BACK,    watching him suffer and struggle with the little rabbit,    smirking to herself as she notes the near liquid way that silver queen holds herself.    she removes a tome from its spot,    looking back to him with a teasing grin    -    gods he puts up with so much when it came to what she    PUT HIM UP    to.
