Anabella mildly frowned while she pondered over her own thoughts and gently tapped her fingers on the armrest of her chair. Only after a couple of seconds did she look up to meet Midadol's gaze. " The Phoenix blessing makes us warmer to the touch; sometimes more and sometimes less. I have heard this is the case with Shiva as well. " Her head canted to the side, and suddenly the woman averted her gaze. " Does this apply to your father as well? " Did it tingle her to touch him? The absurdity of the thought, that had been on her mind for a while now, brought a faint shimmer to her cheeks. " Forget about it, Midadol. Forget that I said anything, " Anabella muttered then and waved with her hand as if she wanted to shoo away her own words. How embarrassing.

Mid raises a curious eyebrow at Anabella's words. If there's one question she hasn't seen coming, it is surely this one. Mid herself has never really wondered about that. Well, she has noticed that Joshua's body is always quite warm, but she never realized it may have something to do with him being the Phoenix. As usual, she doesn't care that he's a Dominant. It's him that she loves. She doesn't forget he's the Phoenix. She can't. She just doesn't think much about it.

As for Cid... Well, she hugs her father quite often, but she was never... tingled by him when it happens. She would have noticed... right ? But why is Anabella asking such a question ? Have she thought of getting close to Mid's father ?

Mid could never see her father as attractive because he's her father. But she knows he's popular. She knows it very well.

She raises an eyebrow. "No, no, Lady Anabella. I... I guess it's a... valid question." She then clears her throat, not sure of what to say next. "Was it... was it a purely hypothetical question, or are you really... curious ?" She really shouldn't have asked, but she can't help herself.

Joshua listens carefully to each of Anabella's words. He really doesn't want to disappoint her. After all, she brings him there to teach him something very important to the Phoenix. He doesn't want to be the Dominant of Fire, but he has to. He may be young, but everyone is Rosalith is counting on him already. Which means he has to do as his mother said.

Roughly an hour until the first guests arive, he thinks as he walks by several servants working to get the last preperations for the ball out of the way. He would love to lend a hand, do something to keep his hands busy and his mind occupied.

However, with his mask held tightly in one hand, his festive attire in place and also already sufficiently uncomfortable as he tends to be before bigger events such as this, Clive instead is forced to make his way through the castle halls towards his mother's study. Her having summoned him on very short notice.

His hair is for once tamed into a somewhat tidied appearance, although it threatens to curl at the the ends, whatever the servants tried to put into it this time to keep it straight failing it's intended purpose like all the others before it.

He breathes deeply, shuffling his feet as he stands infront of the door, jaw clenched, teeth grinding. A nervous knot in the pit of his stomach keeps him from raising his hand to knock. It's never a good sign when the duchess bids him for conversation.

As of late she seems to prefer to act as if he doesn't exist at all, which is an improvement to the open hostility she utilized before. However, it is also all the more reason to be wary of whatever she means to speak to him about now.

At last he raises a hand to knock and then, he waits.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Do they want children?

Honestly? That's not a question he's ever had to ask himself. When he lived in Rosaria as a young teenager, it was something he had only just barely started considering, and with his crush on Jill at that age, it was almost too embarrassing to think about. But after the Attack on Phoenix Gate, Clive never really had the chance to think about it. Bearers aren't given that kind of luxury. Even when he escaped his bondage, a greater task was set before him, pushing such questions further from his mind. Perhaps once everything is settled, it is a question he could consider further.

🐶Are they a cuddler?

Yes. Clive absolutely is a cuddler. One of his favorite things to do with a partner is to spend whatever spare moments can be had together. Watching the stars, reading a book, looking over maps. If it can be done in a relaxed fashion, Clive would like to cuddle with his partner while doing so.

🔮Do they believe in soul mates?

Yes and No. Clive is torn on this, he finds it strange to believe that people can be made for one another, that a perfect match exists out there. What if you were never in the right place to meet them? Are you doomed to never find your 'other half'? What if your soulmate doesn't see you as their soulmate? But at the same time, he can't deny that there was something there when he and Jill were reunited.

Joshua felt the breath in his lungs still for just a moment. It truly did hurt to hear such from his mother. This was a woman he had not seen in many, many years, and still she has such vile words for him. Now, he guessed, there was just no more time to hold her tongue. No room for niceness in this bitter and cold world that she had made for them all.

The reality of this situation was still so dire, and on a limit of time he had no number for. Their real enemy lingered nearby, always watching and waiting. His chest ached for more than just the heartache. More than just the wishes of wanting a mother's love. He looked her in the eye, calmly, but the hurt was there shining in his bright-blue hues.

"Perhaps, I was, when I was smaller, but no longer... You are wrong to say that, Mother."

" This is for you, " Olin muttered quietly and showed Midadol a purple wyvern tail. The young boy averted his gaze as if he was shy of meeting hers while holding out the flower.

Mid raises a curious eyebrow at the sight of the flower. She knows she's not always easy on Olin, but he's so easy to tease! She really can't help herself! And here he is, handing her a gorgeous wyvern tail. She gently takes it and smiles brightly before her attention is back on the boy. She puts her free hand on his shoulder.

"This flower is beautiful, Olin! Purple is a very great color, right ?" she exclaims, letting a brief chuckle escape her mouth. "Did I do something special to deserve it ?"

Mid blinks a few times at these words. Of course, she knows who Anabella is talking about. She couldn't forget this conversation they once had. But... what does it mean ? How did Anabella learn that information ? She approaches the other, raising a curious eyebrow.

"He... does tingle ?" she repeats before an awkward chuckle escape her mouth. She then scratches her neck, not even sure of what to say next. It's rare that Mid can't find words, but right now... this is the case. She clears her throat. "Well... that's good to know, I guess. I hug him often and never noticed..." And here she is, asking the question before she even thinks about it, "How did you find out ?"
