Dingo has the Octopus Miraculous from the Atlantean Miracle Box. His kwami is a little blue ring octopus named Inkki who has an addiction to coffee (he can often be found floating in a mug of the stuff). There actually is a WIP in the Hoard that goes into how he finds Inkki/the box, but it keeps getting backburnered. (The gist is he goes home to visit family and finds the box on a beach. Atlantis sunk while Inkki was outside the box, and he's been floating around for 3,000 years trying to keep it safe. Needless to say, he's not a big fan of Plagg or the Guardians as a result.)

Anyway, Dingo's super name is Ininko Montoya. He's been in a few different fics (One for the Road (which also features the starfish kwami Starr), Cuddlebug (the cuttlefish kwami Hyyde), and a few one-offs in OCtober & possibly Murder May?). It's just the big "origins" fic that hasn't actually been finished yet. 😂

FIC: OC-tober 2020: Day 16: Hand (MLB/Dingo (OC))

Prompt: Hand

Character/Pairing: Dingo King (OC), Inkki (OC), Luka Couffaine

Rating: T / PG-13 / Teen

Notes: A few years back, my bestie found this tentacle ring on Amazon or Etsy or somewhere that’s just really freakin cool, ok?  Anyway that’s Dingo’s Miraculous, and the suckers on the tentacle count as the timer.

Dingo doesn’t like rings.  He’s not really a ring person, not like Luka.

Luka had only had the one, back when they first met.  It was actually a hematite spinner ring that the Captain had gotten him when he had started exhibiting signs of anxiety, or at least that’s what Luka’s doctor had called it.  His case had been relatively mild, though, especially compared to Juleka.  The Captain got him the ring, and he took up meditation, and for the most part he was good.

He still had his moments, like when pompous no-talent hacks try to steal his not-girlfriend’s hard work, but he’s good.  Dingo doesn’t think anxiety when he thinks Luka, not like he does Jules.  He thinks zen.

SS...Monday?  8/24/20

Y’all I was DYING yesterday.  I got my flu shot Friday, and I don’t normally react to ‘em but it kinda knocked me out this year.  So hey I’m doing SSS on Monday because it still feels like Sunday to me.  xD

Eh, let’s make it a double...

“Yesssss!” Dingo cried, hopping up off her stool.  “Let’s do this!  Inkki, Dive Deep!”

Luka rolled her eyes as the blue-green flash filled the booth.  Ininko Montoya (still a stupid hero name, she didn’t care what Dingo said) stood before her a moment later, grinning like the madwoman she was.  Nothing much had changed about her appearance: the gold and blue knee-length sarong remained the same, the golden bangles around her ankles and wrists were the same (as were the eight golden loops around her neck), the blue wrap around her forehead was the same, and her hair had still changed to a dark blonde tied back into eight long dreadlocks, blue bangles threaded in various places throughout.  Golden goggles with blue lenses still covered her eyes.  The only thing that had really changed – thank God – was that Inkki had added a blue and gold bandeau top around her chest, preserving Luka’s sanity from experiencing Dingo King’s Breasts.

She supposed it helped that the Atlantean suits were already fairly revealing, so Inkki hadn’t had much to change.  She also would have thought, given Viperion’s usual costume, Sass would have had nothing to change and just would have called it a day.  However, when she called for her own transformation, she was reminded that her kwami was a little shit and of COURSE he would.

“…woah,” Ininko gasped, her jaw dropping as she took in her friend.  Viperion forced herself to look down, already nervous because of how different the suit felt, and screamed.

“Oh, come on, Sass!” she whined.

FIC: OC-tober 2020: Day 26: Costume (MLB/Dingo (OC))

Notes: I started this with the idea of going into detail about Ininko’s super suit.  That’s still here, but Idk what the rest is.  xD  (…technically all Ininko needs to say to activate his power is “ink”, but bc it’s Dingo and he’s Extra he goes, “Awwww…you made me INK!”)

“You’re taking this better than most people would.”

It’s to his merit – how well he’s taking it – that Dingo’s eyebrow only twitches a little.  The little octopus on his shoulder squirms a little, and the feeling is…disturbing, at best.

“I told you: I know what kwamis are,” he says, reaching for the pot of coffee the little guy had insisted he make.  Inkki squirms on his shoulder again before taking off, and Dingo’s glad for the reprieve. He knows Sass spends half his time coiled up in Luka’s hoodie, but Sass isn’t slimy.  “My best mate has been defending Paris with a Miraculous for years.”

Notes: This one kinda stumped me, ngl.  Three more! Let’s do this!

Something – probably a car – slams into the building above him, and Ininko Montoya lets out a colorful string of language Ladybug’ll probably chew him out for later as he scrambles for (better) cover.  He presses his bare back against an alley wall and peeks around the corner in time to see Chat Noir follow after the car.

There’s a feeling of smugness he knows isn’t coming from him, and he tries not to roll his eyes at his kwami.  (He’s still pissed at the little guy – he needed more training or something before running off half-cocked into an akuma fight.  The new Hawkmoth has proven time and again he’s more dangerous than Gabriel Agreste, and Ininko feels woefully underprepared.)
