Inktober, day 7, FANCY

I’ve never been accused of being fancy, so I have to say that this was actually a pretty hard prompt to come up with an idea. Ultimately, I never waste an opportunity to draw Viktor, and I feel that this is a word that suits him. 

Looking at reference photos I got truly inspired by Yuzuru Hanyu’s routines (the man is a powerhouse!), and ended up drawing bigger than my paper. Viktor looks so squished in that tiny frame! The poor thing.

Inktober Day 7: Fancy

It’s been a while since the last time I watched My Fair Lady but when I saw the “fancy” prompt this Audrey Hepburn look popped into my mind 💁🏾‍♀️💅🏾✨ Quan got real detailed with the drawing so I certainly needed to take my time inking this one (& I finally had a good reason to use my gold pen 🤩⭐️✨)
