Months later, I still haven't gotten over Joel's death. I'm not a person who cries, but I sobbed inconsolably at his death as if a family member had died. I'd prepared myself for the possibility, as I suspected they would kill him ever since the first trailer at PlayStation Experience, but the way they did it was absolutely devastating.
