🖊 Inktober52 Prompt 14: Shield

Alternative title: Thank God for the Symmetry Tool. Definitely one of the better speed-to-quality ratios because of it. I’ll take it as an indicator that I’m improving my use of Procreate!

Time: 2.5 hours

The first sketch - if you Google something like “sitting down facing front” you will probably come across the stock photo I used as a reference image.

Then I turned on the symmetry tool for the first layer of “ink” (for most of it, anyway):

Then it was fill tool time, and also adding details to the globe below!

Then finally, I wanted an excuse to try the stippling brush:
