Inktober 2025 no.5 - “Deer” 🦌 

Based on some photos I took of Fallow Deer at a local deer park where you could actually feed them. Looking at these two, I couldn’t help but think of Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell.

( The prompt is deer and I instantly went, Easy! Ofc I'll do a Nara. And Shikadai and a deer would be so easy to draw.

Don't know how I messed it up but it looked so bad I scraped it 😭

Sad, looking for new references in Pinterest I got a picture of a girl and decided to go with Temari. )

Drawing Temari came fairly easy ( what a relief). So 1st drawing done. But in the reference picture the girl had such whimsical hair, I just had to add that. That's were things escalated. O gave Temari dreamy hair, that by law had to go with a dreamy dress and why not also add the man of hers dreams. So Shikamaru ended up in both the drawings.

Fairly happy with how they turned out.

But now the deer look terrible 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Eh also, I have no idea about kimono, just searched pinterest and went with what looked pretty. I hope I don't do anything traditionally inaccurate to the dresses.
