Why does Kiri have sharp teeth 🤔

I mean, it sorta falls in line with his quirk, yknow? He can harden his body and when he does it becomes sharp and jagged. So I expect that the first time it happened his teeth just...stayed...like that. Sldhdlsbd

Sharp teeth are good teeth, A+ Love them. However they must have been hell on little tiny Kirishima. Especially if he ever ground his teeth as a kid. I can't remember who it was I talked to, but I chatted with someone and came to the conclusion in the end that Kiri had to wear a retainer or smth of the sort as a kid. Cause he was unintentionally shredding his mouth up. Eventually grew out of it. Only for anxiety after everything with U.A. to cause him to grind his teeth in his sleep and need one again. @mawritesbnha made a post and I think she briefly mentioned the idea. Honestly, let me start with I don’t even think Bakugou’s problem would be if an S/O is bigger or not. It’d have a lot more to do with athleticism. So let me get into that. It’s a tad bit rambling and long, so I’mma do a read more, even though it isn’t THAT long...

Alright, so Bakugou is a very active boy. He’s gots lots of energy in him. Bakugou enjoys things like hiking, activities that are strenuous and take up plenty of strength, and stamina. I’m willing to bet he would want to share that sort of life style with whoever he chooses to be his S/O. So, he would likely want an S/O who is athletic. “Oh right! And fat people can’t be athletic, they’re lazy and...” ERRR WRONG!!!!! Just because you’re plussize/fat/heavy/chubby/thicc/whatever term makes YOU happy to use it does not mean you cannot be athletic. 

So, being fat would not inherently be a problem for Bakugou. I honestly don’t see him subscribing to traditional beauty standards. They don’t matter to him. The problem would only come in if you AREN’T an athletic plus size person. Honestly, I think someone who isn’t athletic (be them skinny, average, fat) he won’t pay them a second glance. Like, they’d REALLY have to do something to prove themselves and garner his attention. Even then, that’s just his attention, not his respect. 

Which is why I say Bakugou would be ableist. I just cannot see him being with someone who has a disability that slows them down. If they can’t at least keep up with him, he doesn’t want anything to do with them. He’s an absolute bastard in that way. Doesn’t matter if the person is fat, skinny, or what, if they can’t keep up with him, and try getting his attention, they’re not going to get anything they want. Especially not while he’s still young and hot headed. Yes. Bakugou is getting better, it’s exactly why he is my favorite. He’s slowly learning to work with others, and improving his over all outlook on life. Key word, slowly. Even well into his twenties he’ll probably still be a bit of a bastard. 

Lemme touch on how I feel he would be with a plus size S/O however. Someone who is chubby and still keeps up with him. Frankly? He’d dig it, I think. I feel like he’d appreciate the softness of an S/O with more weight to them. Everyone sees him as an ass man, but I feel like he’d particularly appreciate the thighs. (Maybe it’s cause I’m a thigh girl) I like imagining him laying his head in his S/Os lap, silent after a long day of Hero work. He turns his head and just sighs as he wraps his arms around their torso, nuzzling into their soft tum as they run their fingers through his hair. It’s a moment of warmth and silence, and honestly I feel like it’s the best way for him to recharge after work. 

Got insecurities as a plus size person? Yeah, good luck. As we’ve seen, he doesn’t really use anyone’s names in the beginning. He calls them things that stand out to him. Usually something about their quirk i’ve noticed, it’s probably the first and only thing he cares about with a new person. He probably wouldn’t go straight for your weight, as I think different body types are more common in this society. However, if there isn’t anything else that stands out, yeah, be prepared for a nickname that hurts. I fully believe most relationships with Bakugou are going to be enemies to lovers. More so with an insecure plus size SO.

I never got the love for Shinsou, I mean I haven't read the manga, is there more of him in there?

There is a bit more of him, yeah. Not much tho. Honestly, I don’t know what initially got me to love Shinsou so much? I watched the Sports Festival Arc and something just clicked. At first I was laughing and joking with my friend, “Look at this Beetlejuice ass looking motherfucker” but then when I re-watched the series I couldn’t stop thinking about him??? Despite how my friend and I made fun of it, he has a cool design. The dumb poofy hair, the bags under his eyes, the fucking white pupils (idk i love something about that). Never mind that he’s honestly very relatable to me. He was clearly bullied for his quirk growing up. Didn’t have very many friends. From my perspective it hardened him, he expects the jabbing comment, whispers behind his back. I sort of did the same thing after some years of bullying. I learned that if I hardened up and got tough people would mostly leave me alone. I was a bit more extreme then him tho. I was hurling threats at people, glaring and insulting anyone who I deemed a threat. Just putting on this real edgelord persona. I was not the best in Highschool. But what I’m trying to say is I get it. I understand trying to cut yourself off from others and hold up a tough uncaring exterior so the bullies will go away.

Okay, so it is a wee bit late rn. I'm winding down for bed. Had a rough day so when I came home I essentially hopped on the PS4 and did nothing else adhdlshsg I'm horrible, I'm sorry. But I wanted to let you know that I did get this ask!!! Assuming tomorrow is a better day I will type up a post with a better answer!

For now I'll tell you the two people who I think have the best grasp on him and portray him in a way I like.

Honestly I think it was a post from Delaware-lemme-smash that sort of helped cement my love of Shinsou??? They don't post super often but when they do it's so fucking fantastic. I always get giddy and excited to see what they are posting about!!!

And of course I think we all know I think Ma is brilliant! I am always so happy to hear her headcannons. She amazes me with the amount of thought and consideration goes into her headcannons. She has a wonderful grasp of Shinsou and several other characters!!!

I'm half-way between hating my art and adoring it. UHGHHH, I should be studying anatomy and trying improve but it's so intimidating

Oof, if that isn’t an eternal mood. Yeah, I get that feeling. It is intimidating. Still, it’s a good idea, and it can be made fun. Some artists hold streams to do these studies with their followers. @elvenbeard was one I used to take part in streams with. Idk if they’re still doing them tho.

Who would be on Shinsous pokemon team

God, I had a whole team outlined for him. Granted that was before SWSH came out.  I need to think and see if I can remember it. 

So, I’m sure it comes as no surprise to you that I see Shinsou having a team made of Psychic, Dark, and Ghost types. Mostly Psychic if I’m to stick to one typing. Which...I usually don’t. 

Persian (Alolan): Look, lets be real. Shinsou loves cats, Alolan Persian is a Dark type, AND matches into the over all color scheme of the team I’m about to go into. 

Liepard: Another cat? Yeah. Another Dark Cat? Fuck yeah. 

Gengar: THEY HAVE THE SAME SMILE

Espeon: I mean...like...why not right? It’s not really a feline, but it does look close enough. Also, it’s a good psychic type. 

Umbreon: Very similar concept to Espeon and I’m a sucker for them being on the same team together. Because...idk...im dumb, shhh 

Deino: This scraggly lil dragon is precious just like our boy. I just, idk they both have wild crazy hair and I appreciate it so much. I just also adore the idea of Shinsou having to deal with a dumbass little dragon who can’t see so it tries eating everything to figure the world out.

Anything made by Keiid is top tier A+ to me! I don’t think they have a tumblr anymore though, not since the purge. It’s sad too. 

@loshka also has some AMAZING BNHA fanart. Ugh. I’m weak. Their anatomy and way of stylizing the human form is beautiful. One of my favorites they did as far as Shinsou goes is this one. PIC

@ladymeowsith Also has one of my favorites of Shinsou. It’s got gorgeous color and you can see the strokes, which I think is a style choice that sells this piece. That and the ADORABLE cat askjdgh. He looks so good and well put together. PIC
