I mean the kid is only 18, so on the one hand- "ugh, youths". On the other hand, I started working in the service industry at 14, and learned pretty quickly that even saying the word "union" could get your ass fired (yay right to work states!), and the idea that people who work in an exploited class could come together and fight a system that is nation-wide is fucking ridiculous. People have mouths to feed and bills to pay
It blows my mind that servers here in Chicago actually make 4.65 an hour. That's more than double what I made in Tennessee, and we sure as fuck never would have thought about a union. That's a great way to end up unemployed and unhirable in the South.
TLDR: If you don't tip your server, you're a piece of shit. I don't care what your supposed politics are.

yes! here in california, employers have to pay full state min wage before tips! I don't know the other states from memory but you can check here:

california has one of the higher min wages also ($9 rn and iirc, it's supposed to go up to $10 in the next year or the year after?), not that it's enough to live on or something lol

Twice, actually, once this morning and once this evening 'cause I missed some spots on the first go. I did nick myself the second time, but that's just 'cause I was being impatient, and the nick was basically the level of a slight papercut and has sealed up already.
It's a hell of a lot more convenient and speedy for removing the ladystache, I'll tell you that. I'll update on how it affects makeup application next time I wear makeup, probably/hopefully tomorrow.
It's easier than I thought it'd be, I do believe I shall continue.

It's quite chilly overnight, albeit rising into the low 70s mid-day. In other words, awesome weather! But today is rainy and therefore just that bit cooler (and obviously, gloomier), so boots with a long dress would have been perfect. Alas.
