The Kreen
Bryndi heard a story of the bug creatures called the Kreen, form the deserts to the north-east. They are generally known not to get along with Mulhorand, they have a queen, but not much is known about their culture. They are known to be defensive. One of the Kreen fought for the rebels in Esshus, under Ludd’s group. He called himself The Judge.
Inverted Language
At the swamp near Applenook, Bryndi saw an odd and disturbing script all over the walls of the ruined shrine there. It seemed to be prayer after prayer to the Lady of the Night, and the power of the script came not from the weave of it but from shadow.
Pierre
Works for Prince Zacharias. Has the finest mind for numbers and comes from the Market District. He helps manage the home-front when Prince Zacharias is away.
