So yesterday, because of the raining season, we had low voltage and electricity was kind of a bitch. I had to unplug my PC and WiFi was non existent and I couldn’t even use the internet on my phone.
So! We played cards. Sometimes the lights would improve - that’s why some of the photos are way better than the other ones - but it wasn’t consistent enough to read and, yeah, playing cards was the best option.
It was fun and all that jazz, but as the evening drew to an ending - and because I’m slightly obsessed with candles - I thought it would be a good idea to play along with the wax.
Like! Really really great! And here’s my work of art before I got sleepy:
I tried different types of pressure, coating it over and over, holding it closer to the skin etc... And I was expecting it to hurt? But actually it was loads of fun and the pain was minimal and it depended on the technique I was using. Obviously it hurts more on the delicate skin of the hands but it was interesting exploring my knee like that; to make it hurt on the skin rather than the inside of it with my bones scuffing one another.
Now I present to you the super dark photos of my legs and my white kneecap.
After the experiment I washed the wax away. The skin got a little red but nothing serious and I was super happy afterwards.
Why I’m posting this? Because, after last night, I’m certain I want to try my hand on wax playing. Aaaand because I wanted to share the photos I can’t really share any other place that easily. It doesn’t even matter they aren’t all that great photos, it was a fulfilling moment.
