Annabelle was always big on exploring and travelling, especially when the farm was in it’s ‘off seasons’. Sometimes she just ventured through the expanse around her home, and others-- much like right now-- Ann would find herself travelling farther than initially planned. She’d go as far as feet desired... or until she found a reason to stop. Sometimes she found new places to explore and keep as ‘revisit’ spots, other times she’d wind up encountering new humans or Pokemon. This time, however, Ann found herself stopping for an entirely different reason.
She wasn’t quite sure where her little adventurous kick had taken her this time, but the familiarity in both scenery as well as aura energy managed to catch her attention quickly. The Lucario found herself standing in front of a Dojo, one she recalled quite well considering how long ago that had been. The building was run down, years of wear and tear showing quite clearly along the structure. The female frowned, gentle paw running along one of the pillars before her eyes dragged to the entry way. Hesitance struck her briefly, tail swaying with a bit of uncertainty before the Pokemon pushed forward, deciding to check out the interior; perhaps she’d find a souvenir to remember this place by.
She stepped in with barely a sound, foot pads light and carefully placed. It wasn’t often the Lucario intruded in on buildings-- especially ones that could hold humans potentially-- but the urge for familiarity, something good, it managed to win her over. Silence took over the large place, causing Annabelle to lower her stance a bit, making herself a bit shorter out of instinct. It was quiet but she didn’t really feel alone.
She exhaled gently after a few moments, ears lowering a little as she straightened up, finding that she really must have been alone. “Don’t really know what I was expecting to find..” she admits to no one, shoulders slumping a tad in disappointment.
